August 2007

Dear Friends,

Once again I find myself back from India (my 35th project there) grateful for the Lord’s strength and anointing as we found ourselves daily head to head with satan and his host of demons. We literally went into the stronghold of the BJP militant Hindu fundamentalist party in Coimbatore, South India and with the exception of a few incidents came out of it like Daniel without the smell of smoke on us. We solely attribute it to your faithfulness to cover us in prayer.

It is now August 1 and I am 3 days behind getting this prayer letter out, so forgive me as I quickly highlight things. I will for sure bring you a host of testimonies and more details later. Thanks again for praying and giving so that people get saved and into heaven!

INDIA REPORT

Our team from the USA arrived back home in Texas and Georgia on Saturday the 28th of July, bone tired but rejoicing in the Lord’s faithfulness to us. We covered a lot of ground during the 16 day project preaching in 11 churches, 4 Jesus Films and 83 schools and colleges and one Pastor’s Conference where 140 attended. Altogether there were 99 venues where there were 51,325 captured listeners. And from that audience, 35,245 either came forward or lifted a hand to identify themselves as a sinner needing a Savior.

GHANA REPORTS

Eugene Narh and his team of four will be doing a quick seminar and a film crusade at Amasaman, a village in the Greater Accra Region and a film crusade at Ablekuma near Accra before leaving for Kunsu in the Ashanti Region on August 7, 2007. Please keep these guys in your prayers.

In June, Godfried Tei and his team were in the Central Region in 16 venues showing the Jesus Film and preaching to 19,150 with 4,415 decisions for Christ. Here is one of the many testimonies:

During the show at Tadzewu, a young man started shouting and running out of the crowd to me and this was his story: “I am from a shrine in town and it is noted for its potency. For about a year now, I have had a recurring dream of meeting a man in a bright light who warned me about the life I am leading but sadly I have failed to take any action. During the scene of the lashing of the man you called Jesus, I felt some harsh pains any time the man was lashed. I had to run out to you because I could not bear it anymore. What should I do?” Aseye Kwablavi, a resident of Tadzewu. I had the honor to explain the Gospel to this young man and lead him to the waiting hands of the Savior.

PHILIPPINE REPORT

Arren Bennet and his team of 13 left for Mindoro on July 29 to meet the Mangyans for follow up ministry. They were to hold services and then give them the pipes for getting water from the mountain side to their village. I will go back in two weeks to see the completion of the project. It is exciting to minster to the poorest of the poor. We will give them some rice and we will return to Manila Sunday evening. Please keep us in prayers and may His name be glorified in all we do. Please pray for our security uncle as the NPA's the terrorists are active in those places.

Harvesters Training College began its first term of the New Year this past week as the students returned from Coimbatore with Sam and James. Please keep them in prayer as they study to become the future pastors around the college in the villages.

The Fathers House and the 45 children continue to grow and gradually, are coming to Christ month by month. They are such a blessing and your participation in their lives makes it all possible.

2007 YTD Activity

Because of your faithfulness to partner with us, through July, we have preached the Gospel in 420 churches, villages, schools or colleges to 220,283 with 99,095 making first time decisions for Christ. In addition, we have planted 3 new churches.

I hope you know how much Dottie and I love you and value your friendship. The ministry is expanding and God is doing such an awesome work around the world if we will just co-operate with Him. God is good all the time and all the time GOD IS GOOD!

Every blessing in Him….Mack
